A short yes/no checklist about how your child uses sounds, words and sentences. Answer Yes if your child does this most of the time or always, and No if they do it only sometimes, occasionally or never.
Age sets your starting section — you can open any section you like. Nothing is saved after you refresh.
Does your child make comfortable cooing or gurgling sounds when content?
Does your child use different cries for different needs, like hunger or tiredness?
Does your child smile back when you smile and talk to them?
Does your child make sounds back when you talk to them, as if taking a turn?
Does your child laugh out loud or squeal when they are pleased?
Does your child play with their voice — going loud and soft, or high and low?
Does your child make sounds using their lips or tongue, like 'ba', 'ma' or raspberries?
Does your child use sounds to get your attention when you look away?
Does your child babble to themselves while playing alone?
Does your child make happy sounds when a familiar person comes close?
